Looking after their own

stormontcashThe politicians in Stormont are actually very generous at times.

It has come to light that on top of their self-awarded 10% pay rise, MLA’s have been paid £148,000 in compensation for giving up their council seats.

The figures were released from the Dept of Environment in February.

So unlike workers, there’s no need for MLA’s to occupy any buildings looking for unpaid wages after losing jobs or going to food banks to survive.
